Paper Instruments x Perplexity: DRACO

Paper Instruments partnered with Perplexity to develop frontier evaluations for its flagship Advanced Deep Research product.

Since publication, DRACO has been cited in the system cards for Claude Opus 4.7, Claude Opus 4.8, and MiniMax M3.

We built a synthetic data-generation pipeline that transformed production traffic into constrained, evaluable queries, then developed generalizable rubrics for grading non-verifiable tasks. We directed knowledge-work professionals to refine those rubrics around real-world priorities.
